Description
While Private Joe Chiovarou Junior, of Short Mills, New Jersey, was convalescing in the Camp Wolters hospital two weeks ago, he was passing the time by reading a copy of the Star-Telegram. In the paper, he read about the town of Everman, Texas, and became so interested in the story that, on recovery, he made a trip to the town. He has decided to live there and finish his college work at Texas Christian University (T. C. U.) when he gets out of the Army. He is the son of Captain Joe Chiovarou Senior. Private Chiovarou is shown standing against a wall, wearing his military uniform.
