Description
As Pullman service on "short hauls" out of Fort Worth, Texas, ceased under Office of Defense Transportation (O. D. T.) order, pillows were at a premium in the chair cars. Mrs. Damon King, right, of San Antonio, Texas, was among the lucky ones, while First Lieutenant James B. Jones, Randolph Field, returning from leave, faced a pillowless night. He is wearing his military uniform. Mrs. King is wearing a blouse and skirt.
