Description
Peaches are rotting on the ground in some Parker County orchards, where the biggest crop in all history is now being harvested. Some tree limbs have been broken by the weight of the heavy yield, as shown in this picture where John H. Sourovik, county agent, examines such a bough in the orchard of J. W. Foster Junior, three miles south of Weatherford, Texas. Rains and lack of help in picking account for the peaches on the ground. Mr. Sourovik is wearing a hat, eyeglasses, collared shirt and trousers.
