Description
Technical Sergeant W. H. McCash, decorated B-17 gunner, returned from England recently with 122 points. He arrived in Fort Worth, Texas, to spend a 30-day furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. S. McCash. Sergeant McCash made a special study of releases and perfected an emergency release. The Bronze Star was awarded to him for his achievement. Other decorations he has are the Distinguished Flying Cross (D. F. C.), Air Medal with four clusters, and six battle stars. Sergeant McCash was previously employed at the Star-Telegram. He has two brothers in service: Staff Sergeant Charles C. McCash and Corporal Hugh McCash. W. H. McCash is shown standing against a bare wall, wearing his military uniform.
