Sonny Brooks Jordan, 8, in hospital bed at Saint Joseph's Hospital, handing Red Cross donation to his nurse, Miss LaRue Head. He has been ill at the hospital for six weeks, and was given $5 in change by visitors in that period, which he donated to the Red Cross war relief fund. Sonny is the son of Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Jordan. He is wearing a matching striped shirt and trousers. On the bed are various toy pistols and handguns.
