Technical Sergeant (Tech. Sgt.) Frank Turner and his wife are pictured here. They are shown standing in a room, facing front and smiling for the camera. He is dressed in uniform and Mrs. Turner is wearing a dark color dress. Technical Sergeant (Tech. Sgt.) Turner was a member of the C-47 crew that flew General (Gen.) Carl A. Spaatz and Marshal Sir Arthur Tedder to Berlin for the formal surrender ceremony. He is on furlough now and they are visiting relatives. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, July 6, 1945.
