He is dressed in uniform and Mrs. Turner is wearing a dark color dress. Technical Sergeant (Tech. Sgt.) Turner was a member of the C-47 crew that flew General (Gen.) Carl A. Spaatz and Marshal Sir Arthur Tedder to Berlin for the formal surrender ceremony. He is on furlough now and they are visiting relatives. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, July 6, 1945.
