Private (Pvt.) Elliston, dressed in uniform and seated center. Mrs. Elliston is putting her hand on son's shoulder. She is wearing a knee-length dress and pearl necklace. Mr. Elliston is wearing trouser, full sleeved shirt and a tie. Private (Pvt.) Elliston, member of the 924th Field Artillery captured during the Belgian breakthrough in December, relates some of his experiences at Stalag 13-C to his parents. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, morning edition, July 8, 1945.
