Description
Doctor J. N. Thomas, 88, who joined the Mansfield Masonic Lodge in 1894 and became worshipful master in 1895, will join in the lodge's 75th birthday celebration on July 9. In his hand he holds the old bell, presented to the lodge when it was organized in 1870, and rung to call members together. His right hand is resting on the lodge's old Bible, believed to be the first used by Mansfield Masons. He is wearing a Mason apron. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, July 5, 1945.
