City Manager Bothwell, left, and City Water Superintendent Stephens, right, inspecting the new $16,339 modern electrical pump and motor unloaded at the city's Holly pumping plant. On the left is the powerful motor. Stephens is standing between the two sections of the pump. The equipment, first of eight similar pumps called for in long-range improvements plans, weighs 41,400 pounds. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, July 4, 1945.
