Description
Some 15 automobiles were damaged early when flames destroyed the Hinckley Service Station at 3515 W. Vickery. The photo shows a section of the building with a collapse roof and debris on parked automobiles. Firemen said the structure apparently had been burning for some time before the fire was destroyed. Patrolmen Warren and McKinney reported the blaze and saved six cars by pushing them out of the garage. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, July 3, 1945.
