Description
Doctor Charles R. Sherer, head of Texas Christian University (TCU) mathematics department, has been selected by the War Department to serve on the faculty of one of the University Study Center to be used by the Army Education Program for troops in the European Theater of Operations (ETO). Dr. Sherer will be employed as a civilian educational specialist when the two centers open in July in England and Fountainbleau, France where he is scheduled to teach. Dr. Sherer has been given a leave by TCU. He is shown standing by a bare wall wearing a double breasted suit. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, July 6, 1945.
