Description

Despite his father's achievements in the Pacific as a Marine fighter pilot, seven-month-old Michael Matthew, son of Lieutenant (left) and Mrs C. H. Matthews Junior (right), stole the show when newspapermen visited them at the home of grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Matthews Senior. Michael is seated on ottoman, with his parents kneeling behind him and the furniture. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, July 2, 1945.
