Bud Turner of Perrin Field, a native of Waco, Texas is pictured here. He is shown seated in a outdoor chair while posing for the camera. He is dressed in uniform, holding a badminton racquet and smiling. He will play for a tournament. He was the state high school doubles champion back in 1936 and he went to the finals in the National High School Tournament in Boston the same year. Turner will play in both the men's doubles and singles for the upcoming tournament. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, June 24, 1945.
