Description
A special troop train bearing 377 Texas members of the 86th Division Black Hawks stopped at Texas & Pacific (T&P) Station on it's way to Fort Sam Houston. The men exuberant over being back in their home state, spent a two-hour stopover cavorting about T&P Station. Shown, left to right, Private First Class Douglas V. Powell of Dallas and Private First Class John F. English of Dallas. Both of them are seen sitting on train steps.
