Description
As the train jerked to a stop in Fort Worth, some of the Fort Worth men in the 86th Division managed to find a telephone. A few minutes later, there were scenes as such. Shown here are Private J. P. McMakin with wife and sons, Pete Junior and Pat Logan. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram Morning Edition June 21, 1945.
