Group of five Lena Pope Home boys, home on furlough. Standing left to right, looking at a magazine, are Private First Class Walter Richey, Technical Sergeant James P. Nordon, Earl Fickle, Yeoman First Class, Staff Sergeant Roy Defibaugh, and Staff Sergeant Melvin Justice. All five men are dressed in their military uniforms. They are huddled around Mr. Fickle, who is holding an issue of Yank Magazine. They are standing in front of a row of filing cabinets.
