Description
Fort Worth Quartermaster Depot celebrated the 170th anniversary of the Quartermaster Corps with a barbecue. There was a Quartermaster beauty contest and all of the prize winners were awarded war bonds. Two of the Quartermaster beauties are pictured here. They are Miss Joanna Mosley, left, and Miss Berniece Harrison. They are shown standing side by side against a bare wall, facing front and smiling for the camera. Miss Mosley is wearing a light color dress, a necklace and Miss Harrison is wearing a dark color jacket. They are the second and first place winners respectively at the contest. Both are employees at the depot's market center. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, June 19, 1945.
