Lieutenant Jack L. Knight was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor posthumously during a ceremony at Camp Wolters. Attending the ceremony were, left to right, Major General Bruce Magruder, Roy A. Knight, Lieutenant Colonel Ralph B. Watkins, Mrs. Roy Knight, Lieutenant Jack Montgomery, Mrs. Curtis Knight, and Sergeant Curtis Knight.
