Lieutenant Jack L. Knight was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor posthumously during a ceremony at Camp Wolters. Attending the ceremony were Mrs. John Linn, of Sweetwater, Texas, and her husband Private John Linn. Private Linn is wearing his military uniform. Mrs. Linn is wearing a blouse and a plaid skirt. She is smiling as she tries on a field backpack and a helmet.
