Miss Lucie Dourif, who fled France before the German invasion [Holocaust], is here visiting her fiancé's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Seay Sandifer. Miss Dourif is engaged to Lieutenant John S. Sandifer, United States Navy Reserve (USNR), whom she met in Washington, D. C.. Her parents are Major and Mrs. Henri Dourif. Miss Dourif was born in Savoy, France, and brought up in Paris. She came to America to finish college at Vassar. After graduating she entered Columbia University to work on her master's degree in child psychology. Shown is Miss Dourif dressed in a light colored dress. She is wearing a pearl earrings and necklace. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram Morning Edition June 17, 1945.
