Lieutenant R. G. Wilson Junior (Jr.), United States Navy Reserve (USNR), is pictured here. He is shown standing against a bare wall, dressed in uniform and smiling for the camera. This is his half bust shot. He is visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. G. Wilson, after having served 31 months with a patrol bombing squadron in the Atlantic Fleet. He graduated from Paschal High School in 1938 and attended the University of Texas law school. He enlisted in the Navy in January 1942 and received his training at Dallas and Corpus Christi. After the leave he will report to Oakland, California, where he will be reassigned with the Naval Air Transport Service. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, June 22, 1945.
