Description
Mrs. O. L. Backer, left, Mrs. Fred Frazier, employees of the American Manufacturing Company, and J. S. Page, personnel director of the plant are pictured here. They are shown seated at a office table. All are dressed professionally. Both women are telling the personnel director that they will gladly give up their jobs to any returned service man or laid-off war worker because their consciences hurt them for working when their husbands support them, when men needs jobs. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, June 28, 1945.
