    Walter Mixon, standing beside the 12-foot century plant, now blooming , which he took from the side of a mountain near Presidio 14 years ago. The plant has 25 clusters of bright, golden yellow. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram Morning Edition June 17, 1945.
