Description
German prisoner of war camp survivors (left to right) Corporal Les Standifird of Phoenix, Arizona; Corporal Otis Morris of San Francisco, California; and Private First Class Sam Braddock of Edna, Texas. Private Braddock is visiting Fort Worth, Texas with two buddies he met in the prison camp. Private Braddock was fighting with the 7th Armored Division when he was captured in France. Corporal Standifird was fighting with the 91st Division, 361st Infantry when he was captured in Italy. Corporal Morris parachuted with the 509th Parachute Battalion invading southern France when he was captured. The men were prisoners at the Stalag 7A near Munich, Germany. The trio is dressed in their military uniforms.
