Description
Roland E. Nelson, motor machinists mate, second class served three years with a Seabees unit attached to the 2nd Marine Division. Nelson made D-Day landing with the Marines, fought as a rifleman, and operated a bulldozer. Before enlisting, he was employed at the Texas Power and Light Company. Nelson is spending his leave in Fort Worth, Texas with his parents. Nelson is wearing his military uniform and standing against a wall.
