    Description

    Mrs. S. A. Connell and her ten-year old son, John Charles Connell, were rescued from the West Fork of the Trinity River Sunday Morning. They are shown recovering after the ordeal. They were saved from drowning in the river by Mrs. W. M. Gentzke, Private Ollie F. Bracken, and Sergeant Lester Murphy. John Charles is shown sitting on the edge of a the bed, dressed in pajamas. Mrs. Connell is is laying in bed, recovering from shock.
