Back home Wednesday after nearly three days in the city dog pound, Poochie posed with three of his youngest liberators, left to right, Sally Sue Martin, and Ronald and Jimmy Solomon, among the 14 youngsters in a Polytechnic neighborhood who paid for the pup's freedom. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, evening edition, May 23, 1945.
