Description
A May Fete celebration, climaxed with the coronation of the May Queen, Miss Edlyn Shelton, will be sponsored by the Recreation Department in Marine Park. Miss Shelton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Shelton, North Shore Drive, Lake Worth, was elected queen by the children of Marine Park playground. She is a senior at North Side where she is drum major of the band. She is wearing a costume, standing and posing for a picture. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, evening edition, May 23, 1945.
