Clipping: "Two Graduates Will Get Medals. Faith Hill, 2814 Purington, and John Martin, 709 Haynes, spring graduates of William James Junior High School, will be awarded American Legion citizenship medals in a program in the school auditorium at 12:40 p.m. Friday. The awards will be presented by Drew Clifton, post commander of the Bothwell Kane Post No. 21. The student body of the school elected the winners on a basis of scholarship, honor, leadership and service." Published Star-Telegram Morn. May 20, 1945. John is wearing a dark button-up shirt with cuffed sleeves and light khaki-looking trousers, held up with a belt. Faith is wearing a two piece tress with a peplum-style fitted top that crosses over at the top and fastens with three large buttons and at the waist band with two small hook-and-eye fasteners. The slim skirt is a simple A-line.
