Mrs. George G. Reische has many souvenirs from the war in Europe. Mrs. Reische is holding a jewelry box. There are other souvenirs on the table in front of her including a helmet, kettle, beer mug, and coins. Mrs. Reische is wearing a floral dress and silk stockings. The room behind her includes an upright grand piano with a piano scarf, a crystal chandelier overhead, lace curtains and a Persian carpet on the floor. There are antimacassars or doilies on the chair behind her. Clipping: "WAR SOUVENIRS--Mrs. George G. Reische, of 1825 6th Ave., has many souvenirs from the war in Europe. Her husband, a 37-year-old private in an ordnance unit in Germany, has sent her items ranging from Nazi coins to old German beer mugs." Published Star-Telegram Morn. May 21, 1945.
