Mrs. R.M. Sawyer, service chairman of the Girl Scout Council, presented 34 proficiency badges at a court of awards ceremony at Morningside Elementary School. Left to right, Arlene Hedgepeth, Rena Rowland and Geraldine Johnson were awarded their first class badges, having completed 10 proficiency badges. The girls appear to be wearing their girl scout uniforms and are standing in front of a wall.
