Miss Jean Gilliland, left, who will depart for Louisiana to spend a month, and her recent house guest, Miss Jen Banks Collier, of Temple, Texas. Miss Gilliland, who will visit in Shreveport, Louisiana, and on a plantation near there, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. I. Gilliland. Miss Collier is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Collier. They are outside, on the porch of the Gilliland residence. Miss Gilliland is sitting beside a large potted plant. She is wearing a blouse, skirt and necklace. Miss Collier is wearing a checkered dress with a ruffle collar.
