Wade H. Allen, Carpenter's Mate First Class, is home on a 30-day leave after serving two years in the South Pacific. He is spending the time off with his wife. Before enlisting, Mr. Allen was a carpenter with the Austin Company. He helped build the Convair plant, where his wife is now employed. Mr. Allen is standing against a wall, wearing his military uniform.
