Description
Various stages of the silk production process are displayed on a desk. In the front box is about 5,000 silkworm eggs. Specks on the side, the size of a small ant, are the worms at birth. The box behind that contains mulberry leaves that silk worms eat. Towards the back of the desk is a Texas broom weed with cocoons of silk wrapped in a newspaper.
