    Description

    The Panhandle-Plains Historical Society honored Floyd V. Studer of Amarillo, Texas (center) and James D. Hamlin of Farwell, Texas (right), at an annual directors meeting at Canyon. Presenting the certificates of society benefactors to the two men is L. F. Sheffy of Canyon, society secretary, Texas. Miss Susan J. Allen of Southern Pines, N.C. and O. T. Nicholson of Shamrock, who also received the tribute, were not able to be present. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, May 13, 1945.
