    Description

    First Lieutenant Reuben F. Powell Junior, home after 110 days in a German prison camp, watches his daughter, Lacelle, three years old as she plays with a German helmet he sent home to his parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. F. Powell, 2928 Bomar. His wife and their daughter also make their home there. In this picture Lieutenant is sitting on a chair and Lacelle is sitting in her father's lap. Lieutenant Powell is in uniform and holding a cigarette in his right hand. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, May 13, 1945.
