"Y" Serves Veterans -- One phase of the Young Men's Christian Association(YMCA) program is a plan for returned veterans which extends them complimentary memberships and enables them to use the physical, educational and social facilities of the "Y". Three veterans who recently became active in the program are, left to right, R. L. Shaw, Cecil Woods and Delbert R. Bowman. These three male veterans are pictured here. Mr. Shaw and Mr. Bowman are seated at a table and Mr. Woods is standing in the center. They are reading a document that Mr. Bowman is holding. Mr. Shaw and Mr. Woods are wearing suits and Mr. Bowman is wearing a full sleeve shirt. The Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA) program for ex-servicemen was planned in co-operation with the local Veterans Council.
