Back from the cold and hunger of a German prisoner of war camp was Sergeant Johnny Stubbs, show relaxing in the yard of his home eating good American food instead of soybean soup and horse meat. Sgt. Stubbs in uniform is seated on a bench and smiling. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, May 10, 1945.
