Mrs. Tankersley was sweepstakes winner of the Highland Park Garden Club spring flower show held at the home of Mrs. J. N. Patterson, with seven blue ribbons. An oak leaf hydrangea in arrangement won the tri-color ribbon for Mrs. Tankersley and she won blues with a red spirea entry. In this picture, she is looking at her oak leaf arrangement and admiring it. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, evening edition, May 2, 1945.
