    Description

Mrs. J. E. Rawson placed an advertisement in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram for her open apartment. The four room, child friendly apartment drew a crowd early Sunday morning. Some people arrived five hours before the time the apartment was to be shown to prospective renters. By the end of the showing, Mrs. Rawson had the names of thirty-eight potential renters. She made her final decision in the afternoon and rented to W. D. Williams and his three young children. Mrs. Rowan is wearing a blouse, blazer with a brooch, and a skirt. Her purse is tucked underneath her arm.
