Description
News of Police Chief Curry's fondness for coconut pie is spread as far as the Pacific area, from whence came the above coconut in it's outer hull, sent by Private W. L. Counts, former policeman here. Nineteen-month-old grandson, Thomas Dale Curry looks on with much anticipation. They are both sitting on the coach and Chief Curry is holding the coconut on his lap. Published by the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, April 27, 1945.
