Norman Kies is one of four catchers on the Fort Worth Cats' roster that sees time behind the plate. The twenty-nine year old right-hander is better with his glove than the bat. He is dressed in the Cats' home pinstripe uniform and his catcher's gear. Kies is the backup to player manager Bob Linton and Roy Easterwood.
