Oak Lawn Garden Club spring flower show. Flower show winners, left to right, Mrs. R. E. Barr, Mrs. J. E. Schubert and Mrs. A. M. Tallmon. Mrs. Barr, with her tri-color arrangement of white peonies, set on the table in front of her, is wearing a long sleeve dress with brooch on her right side and a rose boutonniere on her left shoulder. She has on a decorative tilt had and clip on, large stud, earrings. Mrs. Barr is holding a card with four ribbons attached. Mrs. J. E. Schubert has on a shear blouse, with stitch design, that ties at the neckline, and a camisole underneath. Mrs. A. M. Tallmon is holding up her seven ribbon sweepstakes awards arrangement envelope, with ribbons attached. She has on a suit dress, with lace collar shirt, wedding ring, flower boutonniere, and large-flower hat. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, evening edition, April 1, 1945.
