Miss Phyllis Knight, floating, acts as student as Miss Elizabeth Hull Learns how to become a Red Cross swimming instructor, under direction of Marion B. Irland, volunteer member of the Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA) physical education committee. Red Cross instructor-lifeguard classes are being held at the YMCA pool to provide adequate staffs for water safety programs at all Fort Worth pools. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, April 22, 1945.
