Description
New town hall for Westover Hills, Texas under construction. The town hall is part of a major park development being carried out with Works Projects Administration aid in the suburban village as being only 45 days from completion. The rock wall below the building will form the edge of a reflecting pool. Between the rock wall an the terrace of the town hall will be the stage of an amphitheater, with seats for the audience on the opposite side of the pool. About 155 WPA workers now are engaged on the project, which calls for development of an entire section of Roaring Springs Creek. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, evening edition, June 12, 1940.
