DeShazer, now with a hospital unit in Europe, was present for the birth of his daughter, but was called back to duty a few days later. Mrs. DeShazer, who makes her home here at 203 N. Taylor, is seated and holds Sylvia Jean in her arms. Published Fort Worth Star-Telegram Evening Edition April 10, 1945.
