RAF Pilot Officer Dennis A. Briggs, Squadron Leader of the Royal Air Force. Briggs determined the identity of the Bismarck, the pride of the German navy, and started the British naval and air force attack that sent 35,000 ton battleship under the surface of the North Atlantic. Published Fort Worth Star-Telegram Morning Edition April 15, 1945.
