    Description

    On Easter Sunday, Miss Dorothy Burke, 3629 Avenue H., and Lieutenant Quentin Poe, Fort Worth Army Air Field, visit the Botanic Garden. They are holding hands while looking at blossoms of a dogwood tree. Miss Burke, with head down, is wearing a floral dress with belt. She has a large flower in her hair, bracelet and ring on right hand and wrist watch on left. Lieutenant Poe is in military uniform with ribbon banner and Air Medal. He has a wooden smoking pipe in his mouth, as he looks towards Miss Burke and the dogwood blossom. They are among various trees and plants. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, evening edition, April 2, 1945.
