Private Fred A. Barnett, former Star-Telegram employee. He was stationed with a mechanized cavalry unit at Fort Riley, Kansas. He spent 10 days with his parents Mr. & Mrs. R.A. Barnett. He graduated from San Antonio Technical High School and attended TCU; his brother Pfc. Robert A. Barnett, Marine, recently returned from serving 28 months in the South Pacific. Pvt. Barnett appears to be standing in front of a wall, he is wearing his uniform and smiling.
