Description
Two wounded war veterans are starting a campaign to recruit more Women's Army Corps (W. A. C.) medical technicians at the hospitals. Pictured left to right are Sergeant Warren "Red" Cowen, Mrs. Juanita Burnett, and Corporal George Foster. The two men are patients at McCloskey General Hospital in Temple, Texas. They have experienced first hand the W. A. C. shortage. Mrs. Burnett is their first recruit. She is wearing a blouse, blazer, and a skirt. The men are dressed in their military uniforms.
